BRIEF

Originally approached by a carbon sequestration company  to create marketing material and presentations. Later, tasked with a full rebrand and roll out of new brand on print and digital platforms.

SOLUTION

Create a fresh and modern brand that alludes to nature whilst also retaining professionalism. 

‘Terra Nova’ translating from latin for ‘New Earth’ was first coined by the explorers of the Americas in the 14th century. In the same way European explorers saw the new world as a blank slate, Terra Nova tries to reset the earth’s carbon deficit via carbon sequestration (planting trees). This means that all design related assets must conjure feelings of space and naturalism as well as exoticism, referring to a foreign world.
